ALBERT LORENZ
The singular style of Albert Lorenz combines a sense of fantasy and exaggerated detail with an architectural command of reality. He uses this ability for complicated depictions of myth and history. His work has been cited for numerous honors including the Gold Medal from the Los Angeles Society of Illustrators for his book, Metropolis Ten Cities Ten Centuries, published by Harry N. Abrams, in 1996 and the Silver Medal from the Society of Illustrators, NY, for his work The Tower of Babel.
Lorenz recently retired from Pratt Institute where he was Institute Distinguished Professor. He is presently working on a new series titled Great Cities of the World and his book for Abrams, The Trojan Horse, was published in 2006 to be followed by The First Day of School scheduled for 2009 publication.

SCHERY MARKEE SULLIVAN
Schery Markee Sullivan received her formal training at New York University in the Creative Arts Master's program. Her watercolors are defined by a dynamic expression of color, line, and vibrant energy. Ranging in scope from elegant florals to intricate mask collages, abstract and primitive creature pieces and powerful figurative paintings, her work is a diverse spectrum of the creative force. Several of her abstracts and florals are now published by Haddad's Fine Art, CA. Her work is also carried at the Altimira Gallery, LI Picture Frame, NuNu Gallery, R.C. Danon Fine Art Gallery, and Owl 57 Gallery. Her work is also included on many art websites.

GEORGE McCARTNEY
Following graduation from Geneseo College, George worked as an illustrator/art director for "Guideposts" magazine. Gradually, he decided on a freelance career and is now a frequent contributor to "Chronicles" magazine and is an illustrator/designer for several well known textile manufacturers.

SANDRA BENNY
The colored pencil drawings of Sandra Benny are inspired by nature. As the artist states, "My drawings are tributes to nature and her boundless beauty of color and design." Sandra is represented in many public and private collections throughout the US, Europe, the Far East, and the Middle East and has had numerous solo exhibitions and been included in many group shows.

RICHARD VAUX
Richard Vaux calls his works "...'Archetypal Lightscapes' because they appear to be recognizable views or vistas made of light and dark, of color and light, while at the same time representing something broad and eternal, something un-identifiable and mysterious."
